The "ImF e.V" (Interessengemeinschaft mehrsprachiger Familien) is a German
based group which is providing a lot of information both in English and German.
There is another interesting site meant for parents interested
in raising their children in a foreign language, i.e. a non-native language to

You can find a lot of family biographies on these pages which visitors to
these pages have contributed. You might find these short reports very

The Bilingual
Families Web Page is another useful source of information. Cindy Kandolf
who is maintaining these pages is running a very interesting Bilingual
Families mailing list as well. The members of this list originate
from all
corners of the world, but one thing they have in common, is that they
are raising children bilingually or multilingually, or at least have an
interest in bilingual family relationships. Join the list and share the joys
and sorrows of others!
Sometimes books, video tapes, audio cassettes and other things which you
need so urgently to supplement the language development of your child or
children are very hard to get, or only at exorbitant prices. Have a look at
the Multilingual
Fleamarket Page, maybe you will find something there.
If you are looking for songs and games for children in your
language, then you should have a look at Holly's page. She is
collecting them in various languages. Especially those, which will
appeal to very young children. There is a good chance that you will
find something in your language as well, even if you raise your
children in Latin!
